How To Directly Launch To Desktop
Instead Of Start Screen In Windows 8,
8.1

After Logging in a start
screen will appear Click on
Desktop, in case you are
already on Desktop Follow
the second step.
After that Right Click at blank space
on the taskbar a small window will
appear Click on Properties ( as shown
in picture below )

After clicking on Properties a Window
Will Appear with Many options Viz
Taskbar, Navigation, Jump Lists,
Toolbars
You need to Click On Navigation Tab (
as shown below )

After Clicking on Navigation Tab You
may notice too many options. Just
point your cursor to the middle of
window
and Tick Option first under sub menu of ” Start
Screen ” i.e What we are going to do ‘ When I
sign in , go to the desktop instead of Start
screen. ( for any clarification locate the option
marked with red in below image )

Click Ok And You Are Done .
